Kids!
Tuesday, February 19th, 2008Our poor children! They “had” to go to school yesterday, Monday, February 18th, 2008, in order to make up one of their “Snow Days”! They were sure not happy having to go on President’s day, yet I think that the school board is doing a great job by acting in such a pro active manner. After all, would they rather loose their spring break days? Or have school go 3 days longer at the end of the year? Since we have had low rain fall for the past few years, we really needed the snow! It was indeed a “pain” to have to deal with all the snow and ice, but when it first fell, it sure was a pretty sight!
The Steering Committee is having a meeting on Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 and hope to get all the Actions Teams together for an update on Tuesady February 26th, 2008. I will have more precise details for you all on Wednesday, so stay tooned!
